Define clear requirements, write user stories, and manage backlog grooming and sprint planning. Clarify project goals, remove impediments, and support developers throughout the build process. Project Monitoring & Execution: Oversee project progress across the development lifecycle. Ensure deliverables meet requirements and undergo thorough functional and end-to-end testing. Document and prioritize technical debt, issues, and fixes while devising plans to address them. Use AI tools to streamline daily workflows (requirements drafting, documentation, meeting summaries, insight generation) Assist in building and maintaining the product roadmap aligned with company goals. Proactively identify and implement features to enhance user experiences. Maintain high-quality product documentation for stakeholders, including issue logs, technical fixes, and knowledge bases. Provide visibility through reporting to senior management on project progress and value delivery. Contribute to training materials and process documentation. Continuous Improvement: Monitor metrics to improve value delivery, product quality, and development efficiency. A customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering products that address customer needs and exceed expectations. ~ A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field (strongly preferred). ~1+ year of experience in Product Management or Business Analysis within an Agile software development environment (internship experience counts). ~ Ability to leverage AI assistants for documentation, research, requirement refinement, and backlog management. ~ Demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining product roadmaps and ensuring clear, thorough documentation. ~ Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and operational needs to technical teams. ~ Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams. ~ Located within the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA) and able to work from our Oakville office as part of our hybrid environment Hands-on experience with Jira or similar Agile lifecycle management tools. Familiarity with Kanban and Agile metrics to track progress and optimize workflows. Experience with vendor management and integration. Proficiency in Figma, including designing user flows, wireframes, and UI prototypes (bonus for using AI-powered design features). Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar certification.
