**GENERAL CONSTRUCTION LABOURER**

Since 1983, Bremner Engineering and Construction Ltd. has strived to be the leading Construction organization within the Bow Valley area.

BECL is currently offering year-round employment and competitive wages for full-time General Construction Labourers. We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic individuals to join our dynamic team.

**Wages**:

- Ranging from $20-$26 per hour, with overtime after 40-hours per week.
- Wage is negotiable based on level of experience.
- Company benefits available after a 3-month probation period.
- Possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license.
- CSA Certified safety boots.
- CSTS Certification or equivalent is an asset.
- Previous construction experience is an asset.
- Positive attitude with an attention to safety.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and also be self-motivated as an individual.
- Have garments available to match variable weather (rain, cold and hot conditions).

**Duties for General Construction Labourer includes, but is not limited to**:

- Loading and unloading construction materials. Moving materials to work areas and onsite.
- Installing and removing concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks and barricades at construction sites.
- Mixing, pouring, spreading and final grading of materials such as concrete and gravel, utilizing hand tools.
- Assisting heavy equipment operators to secure attachments to equipment.
- Signaling heavy equipment operators to guide them in moving materials and equipment.
- Levelling materials to fine grade specifications using rakes and shovels.
- Removing rubble and other debris at construction sites using various tools and equipment.
- Operate and maintain construction equipment such as compaction equipment, pumps, and compressors.
- Tending or feeding equipment used in construction, such as mixers, compressors and pumps.
- Site housekeeping, clean up and organization.
- Oiling and greasing hoists and similar equipment.
- Directing traffic on construction sites.

**Work Conditions**:

- 40-55+ Hours per week. 5-6 Days a week. Positions available immediately.
- Supportive team environment focused on professionalism and safety.
- Safety training offered to all staff.
