We are currently seeking skilled **General Construction Labourers** to join our dynamic and versatile team for year-round and seasonal work

**Position Summary**:
BECL is currently seeking **enthusiastic and dependable General Construction Labourers** to join our growing team. This is a full-time, year-round opportunity offering **competitive wages**, a **supportive team environment**, and **comprehensive benefits**. **Wages & Compensation**:

- **$20.00 - $26.00/hour**, based on experience
- **Overtime** is paid at time-and-a-half for any hours worked over 8 hours per day and 44 hours per week
- **Travel allowance** available for those commuting from outside the Bow Valley area

**Schedule**:

- Monday to Friday, with weekend work as needed
- 40-55+ hours per week

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Load and unload construction materials and move them to work areas
- Set up and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, and barricades
- Mix, pour, spread, and grade concrete and gravel
- Assist equipment operators and signal movement of machinery
- Operate small tools and equipment, such as compactors, compressors, and pumps
- Operate a skid steer safely and efficiently
- Work alongside heavy equipment and assist operators as needed
- Demonstrate strong communication skills with crew members and supervisors
- Use hand tools such as rakes and shovels to level materials
- Maintain job site cleanliness and perform general housekeeping
- Direct traffic on job sites to ensure safety

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- CSA-approved safety boots (required)
- CSTS certification or equivalent (asset)
- Previous construction experience (asset)
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Prepared to work in varying weather conditions (rain, cold, heat)
