**Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Bartender and manager to join our team at Kilt & Caber Ale House. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons. Additionally the position will involve a management role both as a bartender but also managing on the floor a few shifts per week. The management role is an exciting opportunity to lead the team, ensure customer satisfaction with all aspects of their experience, identify and rectify issues in any aspect of the pub. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining our reputation as a premier destination for food and drink.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Manage cash handling accurately, including processing payments through the POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper food safety practices.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels of beverages and supplies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders.
- Ensuring staff are fulfilling their duties.
- Control all aspects of the pub while other management is not on site.
- Motivate your team.
- Work with other management on the development of promotions.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and drink preparation calculations.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices is essential.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Open availability.

Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 50 per week

Additional pay:
