**Responsibilities**:
As part of the executive team at the University of Ottawa, the Vice-Provost, Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies leads the development and implementation of the university's strategy in graduate and post-doctoral education. They foster connections between research and graduate education and ensure the alignment of the two sectors. They promote a holistic, interdisciplinary vision of graduate programs at the University. The Vice-Provost, Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies also develops and monitors policies and procedures for graduate and postdoctoral studies and provides expertise on the interpretation thereof. Other responsibilities include the coordination of faculty and university activities related to graduate and postdoctoral studies and representation and liaison with key players both internally and externally.

Essential Qualifications

Term

The position is offered for a five-year term, which is renewable in accordance with University policies and procedures.
