To support this mission, it is seeking a strategic, visionary, and forward‑thinking financial executive to lead a critical portfolio. The Opportunity The Associate Vice-President, Financial Resources (AVP) will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping the strategic direction and operational effectiveness of the University’s financial and procurement functions. Reporting to the Vice‑President, Finance and Administration, and working closely with the Provost and other senior leaders, the AVP provides financial leadership and expert advice to support the institution’s academic and administrative priorities. Key Portfolios Financial Operations Research, Trust, and Endowment Accounting Procurement Services Financial Applications and Systems This is a key leadership role in the ongoing transformation of administrative services, enabling enterprise‑wide financial strategies that drive innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement. The Ideal Candidate A minimum of 20 years of progressive experience in financial leadership, ideally within a large, complex institution A graduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., finance, accounting, business administration) Demonstrated expertise in strategic budgeting, financial operations, capital financing, procurement, and risk‑informed decision‑making Bilingualism (French and English) is required.
