After fabricating and installing 100,000 countertops in Ontario, we have grown into one of the largest residential suppliers of custom countertops and designer surfaces in Ontario, offering expert manufacturing and installation of Natural Stone, Engineered Quartz, Ultra-compact and Acrylic solid surfacing.

**FULL-TIME, AFTERNOON SHIFT (4:30pm), SINGLE/FAMILY HEALTH & DENTAL BENEFITS, TRAINING PROVIDED**

**Responsibilities**
- Review and understand the cutting specifications.
- Position material slabs using an overhead crane for robotic loading on saw beds.
- Maintain production schedule, but also be able to respond to urgent and unplanned production changes.
- Verify completed pieces against specifications, using squares, calipers, tape measure, etc.
- Ensure material meets project specifications (e.g. correct colour and thickness) and is defect-free (no dents, waves, stains etc.).
- Perform daily/weekly/monthly maintenance tasks in accordance to manufacturer guidelines and within the scope of training provided.
- Identify and report any drawing, material, design and technical issues/problems to Robot Programmer.
- Troubleshoot/resolve common equipment issues.
- Report and document basic material, safety, production, and quality control issues.
- Perform routine cleanup of robot surfaces.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health & Safety policies and procedures.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Minimum education Secondary School or Trades School
- Experience in manufacturing or fabrication is preferred
- Ability to solve technical problems using critical thinking and team collaboration
- Experience using industrial machines (e.g. CNC or Bridgesaw) an asset
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to identify design/drawing errors, problems and other technical issues
- Able to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Must have a desire and aptitude to learn and grow
- Able to understand and perform basic geometry and arithmetic
- Able to understand imperial and metric measurements and conversion
- Strong attention to detail is required
- Knowledge of AutoCAD an asset
- Certified Overhead Crane Operator is required (certification training can be provided)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
