We invite you to submit your resume to join our amazing team in North York. We work like a family, offer competitive wages and other benefits to our employees. We are currently seeking a Sawyer to work in the afternoon shift from 3 pm to 12 am.

About the role:

- Operates saws
- Sets up the work area by installing and adjusting the saw blades, tables, scales
- Disassembles saw by removing and cleaning the blades at the end of the shift
- Empties saw dust from collection points as necessary.
- Starts saw and moves blade across surface of material to saw
- Adjusts blade pressure against stone, using ammeter, and lowers blade in stone as cut depth increases
- Changes or replaces saw blades, cables, and grinding wheels, using wrench
- Operates crane or signals crane operator to position or remove stone from car or saw bed
- Washes stone, using water hose, and verifies width or thickness of cut stone, using rule
- Uploading work sheets to program and laying out pieces on material to be cut
- Updating Production schedule with completed jobs

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 years experience working as a Sawyer for Stone industry
- Responsible and a good team worker
- Have precision and attention to detail
