- Support in the design and architecture of new SQL server cluster concepts
- Development of backup and high availability strategies for business critical databases
- Administration of MS-SQL databases in complex live, test and development environments
- Carrying out 2nd and 3rd level support as well as optimising the systems
- Ensuring trouble-free 24/7 operation and optimal availability of the databases
- Collaboration in projects
- Creation and maintenance of system documentation

**YOUR PROFILE**
- Completed IT studies, IT training or comparable experience with sound experience as a Microsoft SQL Server Administrator
- Very good understanding and practical experience with cluster technology for MS Windows and MS SQL Server
- Deep understanding of database technologies such as data replication, mirroring and always-on
- Good knowledge of database backup and recovery procedures
- Good understanding of Microsoft products such as SSRS, SSIS and SSAS
- Good scripting skills such as PowerShell and T-SQL
- And most importantly, you enjoy breaking new ground, learning about new technologies and are passionate about what you do
