Manpower and Equipment Dispatcher

Newforce Energy Services Ltd. is a diversified oilfield services company with divisions in: pipeline construction, pipeline maintenance and integrity, facilities construction, facilities maintenance, road/lease construction and electrical and instrumentation (E&I).
This position will be responsible for the scheduling and dispatching of drivers, work crews, equipment, and/or service vehicles for work in the AB region.
**JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Efficiently schedule work & dispatch trucks, equipment, and employees in an organized manner
- Maintain list of employees’ and contractors’ and their competencies
- Update and maintain dispatch sheets daily
- Coordinate current and upcoming crew and equipment needs with Supervisors
- Assist with hiring and orientations/training
- Create ERP’s and provide accurate directions to site for crews
- Relay work orders, messages and information to or from work crews, Supervisors, sales personnel and management
- Assist office administration with review and monitoring of field tickets for completeness, accuracy, and timely submission
- Work in conjunction with human resources department to administer and track competency of frontline employees and contractors and participate in employee evaluations as needed
- Work with the HSE department to complete monthly inspections and audits
- Assist mechanics with prioritization and scheduling of field repairs and equipment maintenance
- Ensure yard is organized and well-maintained
- Answer telephones
- Make “First Calls” for utility locates as needed
- Review reports from GPS system
- Other job duties as required, as the above duties and responsibilities may change at any time with or without notice
**Experience & Qualifications**
- Able to work in a very fast paced environment.
- Ability to deal with high demands
- 3+ years dispatching experience preferred.
- Experience in pipeline and facilities construction strongly preferred.
- Professional with highest level of ethics and integrity
- Customer-centric attitude
- Oilfield industry knowledge
- Good computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills, ability to meet short deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Positive attitude and a willingness to take on new challenges
**Salary**: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
