**Position Summary**

This position will be responsible for the supervision of bail clients according to the Bail Verification and Supervision Program standards. This position will work closely with clients to observe their adherence to Supervision Orders; support for adherence is provided through resource information and community information to the clients of the program.

**Case Management**
- Establish professional and positive working relationship with clients
- Maintain knowledge of and assist clients with referrals to appropriate community service agencies and educational/vocational programs

**Administrative**
- Maintain client master files by affixing assessment and intervention plan, statistical forms, and any relevant internal information including all bail program forms
- Prepare comprehensive reports for court outlining bail supervision case plan as required
- Ensure client file notes are maintained on the client information management system
- Collect information for program evaluation and statistical purposes

**Collateral Communication/Program Representation**
- Maintain consistent communication and develop positive relationships with the court personnel, probation case managers and other professionals involved with the client
- Testify in court as required
- Establish partnerships with relevant community resources viable for promoting and sustaining gains made by the client
- Confirm clients are following through on court ordered conditions
- Work collaboratively with other agency staff and assist with program support to all other program areas at JHS as directed
- Contribute to a positive and respectful working environment

**Essential Skills**
- Excellent writing and organizational skills to support case assessment and management
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and efficiently work under pressure

**Additional Assets**
- Knowledge of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, Judicial Interim Release
- Experience working with and implementing the concepts of effective correctional interventionBe knowledgeable about evidenced based research in community corrections

**Qualifications**
- **Training**: Diploma or degree in a related field
- **Experience**: Minimum 2 years’ experience working with clients in the Criminal Justice System

**Position Details**

Full-time: 35 hours weekly

Schedule: 8:30am to 4:30pm (Monday to Friday)

Salary Range: $22.51 - $24.60 (starting)
