**Position Title**: Media Productions Analyst (Film, Acting, and Media Productions Cluster)
**Status**: Regular, Part-Time
**Hours**:24 hours** **per week
**Faculty/Department**: Faculty of Media, Creative Arts, and Design (FMCAD)
**Campus/Location**: North and Lakeshore
**Hourly Rate**: $35.91 - $41.62

**About the **Media Productions **A**nalyst** **Role**:
- Under the general direction of the Associate Dean, Film, Acting, and Media Productions, and working with the Program Coordinator for the FMCAD programs, the Media Productions Analyst is responsible for overseeing production aspects of film productions in the fall and winter semesters, as well as pre-planning for the following academic year during the summer. These productions include professional, unionized actors; Humber professors; support staff; and students from programs across the Faculty. The incumbent will coordinate and monitor the budgets for all productions, oversee student lab fees and cash advances, schedule and set deadlines, hold production meetings, liaise with external vendors, update and distribute required documents and forms for productions, organize and oversee the use and scheduling of spaces, and perform other related duties. The incumbent must have excellent communication and organizational skills.

**Education**
- Minimum of a three-year college diploma or equivalent, in a media production program.
**Experience/Skills**
- At least three years professional experience in the industry and familiarity with collaborative creative processes and have worked as a in production accountant.
- Experience in an educational environment will be an asset.
- Understanding of health and safety requirements of the production industry is required.
**Key Duties**
- Oversee student film budgets in conjunction with faculty leads on film productions
- Oversee student lab fees fund and cash advances
- Reconcile student budgets with student producers
- Balance yearly cash flow
- Update and distribute documents and forms that are required for production accounting
- Update and maintain production accountant documents and forms
- Liaise between students and Humber financial services
- Help and assist as needed with the planning of all end-of year screenings/events
- Work with FMCAD Program Coordinator on special projects as required**What’s** in it for you?**
