**Status**:Regular Part-time Support

**What you will do**:
Reporting to the AD IGS Student Experience and working closely with the Manager, ICHub, along with ITS, the IGS team and any campus partners and collaborators the IGS System Administrator will oversee the administration of the MyIGS Journey student portal and the MyIGS Job Board supporting system development and maintenance, facilitating a positive experience for all users. The IGS System Facilitator will be responsible for daily system support, delivery of technical services and customer service. The incumbent will be expected to demonstrate a high level of self-direction, initiative, and independence of judgment.

System Administration & User Experience
- Act as a Super Administrator for the My IGSJourney Portal and the IGS instance of Career Connect (My IGS job board), facilitating user on-boarding approving user accounts and postings to supporting system triage functionalities
- Respond to student, staff and employer system related inquiries;
- Provide ongoing training and coaching to system users;
- Act as the key point person and a catalyst to resolve problems with students and other users, escalating when necessary - this may include escalation to the Humber data team, the vendor or direct supervisor;
- Trouble shoot any issues with data integration, user accounts, resources, appointments, events or job postings.
- Ensure familiarity with new functions and features provided through system upgrades by vendor, communicates updates and new functionality with the IGS team developing requirements, design, specifications, test cases, and testing to implement relevant new features and functionality through consultation with the AD IGS Student Experience;
- Perform regression testing to ensure a new release has not adversely impacted the features and functionalities;
- Based on institutional needs, gather requirements, and provide feedback to vendor on necessary system changes and updates.

Monitoring & Communications:

- Prepare and deliver a communications plan for projects that addresses all stakeholder and user needs;
- Support a long-term operational and support plan for systems, activities and processes deployed;
- Administer a continuous cycle of assessment to ensure progress to goal, success outcomes are achieved, and risks management strategies are activated;
- Forecasts, analyzes, and makes recommendations to the AD IGS Student Experience;
- Complete information and resource updates on a regular basis based on input and recommendations from the IGS team;
- Complete a thorough review of all information in the portal for accuracy and updates prior to each new intake consulting with the IGS admin team for necessary updates.

Resource Development and Training
- Maintain user guides and online training videos for system users, specifically students, employers, staff and faculty.
- Support with the planning and implementation of in-person training of system collaborators (ie. PCs, service partners etc);
- Develop communication templates for recurring system inquiries and issues to ensure consistency in communication with users;
- Provide training to the team for new features released in the system and develop training materials as required.

**What you bring to the role**:
**Education**
- Three-year diploma/degree or equivalent in Information Science, Business Administration, or Computer Science.
- Post-graduate credential or certificate in project management an asset.

**Experience**
- Minimum 3 years’ experience providing technical support in a busy environment to clients of diverse backgrounds.
- Demonstrated experience working in a higher education student services setting;
