**Shift: 3:30pm - 12:00am Monday to Friday**

**Position/Title: Journeyman Parts Technician**

**Reporting To: Shop Manager**

**Location: Edmonton, AB**

**License: Valid Journeyman certificate - Parts Technician (Red Seal)**

**Must have 3 + years experience**

**Shift: Full time - shift work**

**General Responsibilities**:
Maintain, track, order and verify all parts inventory, while ensuring proper inventory levels meet the ongoing maintenance needs of the Edmonton Shop Maintenance Department.

**Specific Job Duties**:

- Keep work area clean, and orderly ensuring all parts are inventoried and paperwork is coordinated with all shop work orders;
- Ensure safe work practices are observed
- Communicate professionally with coworkers to provide or request assistance when needed, ensuring all parts are in stock in a timely manner according to the shop work schedule for repairs of company equipment;
- Work closely with Shop Manager to confirm all inventory discrepancies, to ensure timely receipt of parts inventory meets the needs on a daily basis;
- Maintain full inventory and clear cataloging of company parts inventory for fast and efficient use of company stores for the Shop Manager;
- Complete all ordering and confirmation of purchase orders, shipments and tracking of inventory both in the system, on the shop floor and posted to the company inventory;
- Responsible for all shipping, receiving and distribution of parts inventory in accordance to company purchase and inventory control policies;
- Observe all company rules, policies and procedures with regards to quality control, Occupational Health and Safety, etc.
- Perform sundry duties as assigned by the Shop Manager

**This is a safety sensitive position requiring mandatory pre-employment testing for under company Drug & Alcohol Policy.**

**All Employees are required to comply with all company and regulatory safety requirements. Each employee is responsible for their personal safety**

**Salary**: $26.00-$28.00 per hour
