The **Service Technician** is responsible for installing, servicing repairing and performing preventative maintenance on our products.
This position reports to the Service Technician Manager and is part of the Services Team within the Aseptic Filling Division located in Burnaby, BC, Canada and **ONSITE**five days a week.
**What you will do**:
- Perform onsite services including installation, training, maintenance, troubleshooting to resolve problems both remotely and onsite, debug and commission systems at customer sites, with requirement to travel up to 50% of work time
- Represent Cytiva by being an ambassador and demonstrate a high attention to detail in performing work
- Use the service tracking system to provide clear documentation of activities at customer sites. participate in creating and updating service documentation, complete standard testing procedures during each machine’s commissioning phase
**Who you are**:
- Post-secondary engineering degree, diploma or equivalent; specializing in electrical, mechanical, or mechatronics.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with mínimal supervision
**Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements**:
- This position requires up to 50% flying and/or driving travel, which may potentially include overnight stays. Travel will primarily be domestic but may occasionally be international.
- Ability to regularly lift, move, slide, raise and/or place up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, walk (prolonged), and sit; squat and kneel, ascend and descend stairs; reach with hands and arms.
**It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in**:
- Understanding of robotics, control systems, and machine operation with hands-on experience is desirable.
- Experience with schematics and design documents.
- Experience working in regulated industries or environments, ideally in GAMP.

The annual salary range for this role is _CAD70,000.00-CAD79,000.00_._ This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
