We are currently seeking a motivated, reliable, and outgoing team player to join our Parking Patrol and Customer Service team, located in Dartmouth.

**WORK SCHEDULE**:
The successful applicant will have a regular schedule of 07:00 AM to 04:00 PM Monday to Friday at Nova Scotia Hospital. Additional hours or different shifts are to be occasionally required as operations dictate. This includes overnight, and weekend shifts, of up to 12 hours in length.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
During your shift, you will be responsible for completing a variety of curbside direction, general cleaning, customer service, and patrol duties at one or more of our parking locations. This includes, but is not limited to:

- Assisting guests with general information and directions.
- Directing patients, visitors, staff and others to appropriate parking areas.
- On foot, patrol parking lots to conduct enforcement, and provide assistance to customers
- Take ownership and leadership of the overall parking operations for the locations assigned, while abiding by the standards and norms of Indigo.
- Provide assistance in person and remotely to customers in the use of the automated parking equipment, recognizing and respecting the individual needs of each customer.
- Completing and assisting in minor equipment repairs.
- Assuring cleanliness of the parking equipment.
- Changing garbage's, picking up litter from parking lots and Sweeping & Mopping if required.
- Wiping down touch points and dusting.
- Other tasks as assigned.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- High level of interpersonal skills, including poise and diplomacy.
- Good communication skills, both verbally and written.
- Previous customer service experience.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to customer service.
- Ability to work with little supervision.
- Ability to work in an outdoor environment.
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs.
- Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools for making repairs.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

Employment is conditional on successfully passing a criminal record check.

Pay: From $19.23 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 48 per week
