**Breakfast Attendant - Holiday Inn Express & Suites Halifax/DartmouthStart**

**Time: 5:30 AM Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM Saturday & Sunday. Weekends and Holidays required.**

**Please Note: Applicants must be a Canadian Citizen or hold a valid Canadian Work Permit. This position is**_**not**_ **eligible for LMIA or AIP programs.**

We are currently seeking a reliable and friendly **Breakfast Attendant** to join our team at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Halifax/Dartmouth. As a Breakfast Attendant, you play a key role in ensuring our guests start their day with a great breakfast experience. **Weekend availability is required for this position.Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Set up breakfast area and ensure all food and beverage items are stocked before service begins
- Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional service throughout breakfast hours
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including wiping tables, counters, and restocking supplies
- Monitor food levels and replenish items as needed during breakfast hours
- Follow all food safety and hygiene standards
- Clear and clean tables throughout service to ensure a pleasant environment for all guests
- Break down breakfast area after service, including cleaning equipment and properly storing items
- Handle guest requests or concerns promptly and professionally
- Report any maintenance or supply needs to management
- Maintain a positive and team-oriented attitude with all guests and colleagues

**Requirements**:

- Previous food & beverage, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred
- Must be able to start as early as 5:30 AM on weekdays and 6:00 AM on weekends
- Reliable transportation to work is required due to early morning start times
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and food safety
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a positive, friendly attitude
- Must be a Canadian Citizen or hold a valid Canadian Work Permit (this position is **not** eligible for LMIA or AIP programs)
- Must be available to work weekends
