We are currently seeking a motivated, reliable, and outgoing team player to join our Atlantic Canada team as a Parking Attendant, based at the Dartmouth General Hospital.

**WORK SCHEDULE**:
Friday (10 AM to 3 PM) and Saturday (9 AM to 5 PM)

Additional hours may be available for those with interest in cross training at other locations.

Access to reliable transportation is required.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
OPERATIONS:

- Greeting and welcoming guests to the property
- Explaining parking regulations to guests, and direct guests to various locations on the property
- Patrol parking lot and issue notices/tickets for violations to parking policy
- Assisting customers in the use of automated parking equipment, respecting the individual needs of each guest, in person and remotely
- Making change for customers, operating a Point of Sale terminal
- Making minor repairs to equipment
- Cleaning the work area, and parking area as needed, including key sanitization and litter pick up
- Responsible for adhering to all company policies and procedures

CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP:

- Build positive relationships with customers
- Note the nature of complaints received by customers, and actively help develop and suggest solutions
- Communicate verbally with customers and clients in English

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- High level of interpersonal skills, including poise and diplomacy
- Previous customer service experience
- Good communication skills, both verbally and written
- Strong work ethic and commitment to customer service
- Ability to work with a team
- Able to work outside in all weather (free uniform provided)
- A valid Canadian drivers license and clean driving abstract is an asset

Employment is conditional on passing a pre-employment screening, which includes a criminal record check.

**Salary**: From $18.27 per hour
