**Job Summary**:
As a Team Member in Sanitation, you play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within the organization. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of workspaces, equipment, and common areas to create a safe and healthy environment for all employees.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
1. Sanitization and Cleaning: Perform routine cleaning and sanitization tasks for various areas, including offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and production areas.
2. Disinfection of Surfaces: Use approved cleaning agents to disinfect surfaces, equipment, and high-touch areas to prevent the spread of germs.
3. Waste Management: Collect and dispose of waste, recyclables, and other materials following proper procedures and guidelines.
4. Restroom Maintenance: Ensure restrooms are clean, stocked with necessary supplies, and maintained according to hygiene standards.
5. Common Area Cleaning: Clean and maintain common areas such as hallways, lobbies, and meeting rooms.
6. Equipment Cleaning: Clean and sanitize tools, machinery, and equipment in accordance with established protocols.
7. Compliance: Adhere to sanitation and safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and following established procedures.
8. Reporting Issues: Report any maintenance or sanitation issues to the supervisor for timely resolution.
9. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members and departments to maintain a clean and organized work environment.

**Accountabilities**:
1. Sanitation Standards: Accountable for meeting sanitation standards and maintaining a clean and safe workplace.
2. Efficiency: Accountable for completing sanitation tasks efficiently and in accordance with established schedules.

**Knowledge and Skills**:
1. Sanitation Practices: Knowledge of basic sanitation and hygiene practices in a workplace setting.
2. Attention to Detail: High attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning and sanitization.
3. Time Management: Basic time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes.
4. Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues.
5. Safety Awareness: Understanding of safety protocols and the importance of adhering to safety guidelines.

**Education and Experience**:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Previous experience in janitorial or sanitation roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
3. Familiarity with the use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
4. Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
5. Physical fitness and ability to perform tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
