Our Instrumentation and Monitoring team provides geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring program from design to operation. **As part of you role, you may expect to be involved in**:
- Co-ordination and execution of field work associated with our services (including exposure to other disciplines)
- Assist with the preparation of technical reports or field log/report
- Communications with clients and other EnVision team members to assist with the development and execution of work
- Involvement in internal and external site communication and meetings which may require working in the construction site office periodically
- Ensure high quality technical work, including field methodology, reporting, and client deliverables
- Foster an atmosphere of continuous improvement
- Proactively commit to creating a positive work environment
- Support Health & Safety programs
- Collaborate with other disciplines at EnVision with respect to multi-disciplinary projects
- Travel to sites within the Greater Toronto Area and Ontario, as needed
- Any other functions assigned as part of your employment
- A degree or diploma in geotechnical engineering, civil engineering, or a related discipline
- A keen interest in geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring
- Survey experience or related instrumentation experience is required
- A valid G license and access to a vehicle to travel to and from sites (mileage to sites compensated), including valid and appropriate vehicle insurance
- Ability to work from home when required and from the office (following Public Health guidance) when required
- Comfortable interacting with the public, clients, contractors, and co-workers
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively, and to proactively respond to time-sensitive issues
- Ability to work outdoors, in all seasons and weather
