The Cambridge Food Bank is seeking an **Operations Manager** for our day-to-day facility and logistics operations. This is _not_ a desk job — we're looking for someone who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and jump in wherever needed.

You might be unloading a truck in the warehouse one moment, supporting participants in the food hamper room the next, then sorting recycling or covering the reception desk. If you thrive in a dynamic, people-centered environment and love problem-solving on your feet, this role is for you.

You’ll also play a key leadership role, managing a small team, hiring and onboarding staff, and fostering a culture of accountability and care.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility and warehouse
- Support front-line service delivery, including reception, warehouse, and food programs
- Manage inventory systems and supplies
- Lead, support, and supervise staff and volunteers
- Maintain health and safety protocols across all operational areas
- Collaborate with other departments to meet organizational needs

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 3 years of experience leading and managing a team, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Hands-on approach with a willingness to do whatever is needed
- Experience in logistics, facilities, or operations management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable with physical tasks (e.g., lifting, standing, moving)
- Computer literacy for inventory and reporting tasks
- Valid driver’s licence with a clear drivers abstract is required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $31.50-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
