Sanitation Associate

**Looking for an experienced cleaner comfortable working in a food manufacturing facility, available for afternoon shifts from Monday to Friday**

**Timings: 11 AM to 7:30 PM (includes a 30 minute-lunch break)**

**JOB SUMMARY**

**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**

Industrial Cleaning in Food Manufacturing Areas:

- Adhere to strict food safety regulations and guidelines while cleaning the manufacturing areas
- Execute thorough cleaning of food processing equipment, machinery, and workspaces to maintain optimal hygiene standards
- Follow proper sanitation practices and use appropriate cleaning agents to prevent contamination
- Remove waste and debris from production areas in a safe and efficient manner
- Ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed according to the established cleaning schedules

General Tidiness and Odd Jobs:

- Ensure the facility remains organized, presentable, and free from clutter
- Perform general tidying tasks, including arranging furniture, replenishing supplies, and ensuring common areas are clean and welcoming
- Assist with occasional tasks such as moving equipment or furniture, setting up meeting rooms, or supporting events as required
- Respond to requests from staff regarding cleaning or tidying needs

**ROLE QUALIFICATIONS**
- Proven experience in industrial cleaning, preferably in a food manufacturing or related environment
- Familiarity with specialized cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals used in industrial settings
- Ability to handle the physical demands of the role, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods
- Strong understanding of food safety principles and practices and sanitization techniques
- Meticulous approach to cleaning and maintaining cleanliness standards
- Punctuality and ability to adhere to assigned schedules and deadlines

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
