**Job Description** How You’ll Make an Impact**:

- Responsible for managing café and catering operations at our site in Downtown Vancouver.
- Responsible to oversee aspects of the operation, working with the onsite Chef responsible for creation of menus, purchasing, etc.
- Manage accounts using our financial tools for accounts payable and receivable
- Lead and direct all culinary operations at the site
- Payroll and HR for frontline employees
- Retention and engagement of frontline employees
- Formulate and manage budgets with finance department and direct supervisor
- Monthly reconciliation of accounts
- Champion the unit Health and Safety program
- Meet weekly with client and operations departmental heads
- Maintain the quality, standards, and performance of the unit

**Qualifications** What You’ll Need to Succeed**:

- Operations experience at the managerial/supervisory level
- Culinary management experience
- Demonstrated experience in managing and leading a diverse team within a hospitality environment, in multiple locations
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data
- Planning, organizing and effective time management skills
- General business acumen
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Personal and professional integrity
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet established goals and objectives
- Ability to anticipate and solve problems
