From constructability through to foundations, structural steel, mechanical, piping, fire protection and commissioning, Gisborne provides construction services for the Mining Industry in Western Canada and the Territories.

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Project Coordinator/Estimator to to provide operational support to Gisborne’s Operations Manager, estimators, project managers, & other related personnel.

**Duties**
- Support/Assist Operations Manager, Project Managers and Estimators
- Utilizing BlueBeam to Take off quantities
- Work with purchasing to prepare and distribute RFQs
- Provide analytical support to Manager in executing assigned projects
- Plan and coordinate project activities for timely completions
- Assess potential issues and technical challenges and accordingly develop resolutions
- Interact with various teams to coordinate project activities
- Assist in project design and development activities
- Work with Manager in change order management, project tracking and document control activities
- Create and configure InEight Document project environments
- Develop project reports for management and clients
- Analyze and resolve project issues in a timely and accurate manner
- Coordinate with management in developing project scope, plan, deliverables, budget and milestones
- Review contract requirements as assigned
- Maintain a journal
- May be assigned project management responsibility, depending on the project scope

**Qualifications/Experience**

**Skills**
- Experience with Web based Project Document control solution (InEight preferred)
- Familiarity with InEight Estimate (formerly Hard Dollar)
- Knowledge of Power BI (Data Management Solution)
- Proficient with BlueBeam
- Construction project site experience
- Strong command of estimating principles, construction processes
- Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
- Microsoft Project Skills
- Strong English Language skills - spoken and written

**Education**
- Post Secondary Construction courses/program (preferred)
