Westgate Honda has an opportunity for a **Service Consultant**to join our family-owned and operated dealership.
The Service Consultant is responsible for guiding the customer through the maintenance scheduling process and repair of their vehicle. They will act as a liaison between our customers and Service Technicians. We are looking for a customer-centric individual who is passionate about building relationships with our customers.
**Job Duties**:
- Work with customers to understand their needs and answer their questions or concerns.
- Ensure that customer vehicles are adequately cared for and keep the customer updated on the progress of their repairs.
- Complete a follow-up to ensure that customers have no additional questions about the repair of their vehicle.
- Gladly accept additional responsibilities and support tasks as assigned.
- Possess the ability to work in a team and has strong interpersonal skills with an upbeat and engaging attitude.
- Possess excellent listening skills.
- Possess the ability to problem solve and show high attention to detail.
- Possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess computer skills and an understanding of technology.
- Possess an understanding of automotive technology and the automotive industry.
- Possess previous experience working in the service department of a car dealership
