**Working at Fanshawe College**Note**:This is a full-time Support position (35 hours per week).**Duties**: Reporting to the Operations Manager, Faculty of Access, Language and Regional Campuses, the Academic Services Consultant provides academic and services support with guidance from the Program Manager in the execution of strategic initiatives that are aligned with the School of Language and Liberal Studies’ main strategy. The Consultant will focus on supporting the planning, development, delivery and renewal of academic offerings and services to drive key performance metrics and providing academic advising support as needed.**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary 3-year diploma in Business, Commerce, Education or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ previous experience with the development of business plans, proposals and community relationship building
- An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered; preference will be given to applicants meeting the education requirements
- Demonstrated experience leading teams and monitoring resources and projects
- Experience in an academic setting, such as teaching, working with Learning Management Systems, or curriculum development and design, is preferred
- Strong analytical, research and organizational skills
- Demonstrated strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
