Lancor Concrete Contractors Ltd., a Moncton-area construction firm, is seeking an experienced Safety Coordinator to champion a strong safety culture across our projects. As a member in good standing with the New Brunswick Construction Safety Association (NBCSA), we value proactive leadership, clear communication, and hands-on support to keep every worker safe.

**What You’ll Do**

Lead site safety: plan and conduct hazard assessments, rescue plans, inspections, and incident investigations (root cause, corrective actions, follow-up).

Ensure compliance with the NB OHS Act/Regulations and relevant CSA standards; guide supervisors and project managers in practical execution.

Keep safety systems tight: maintain and update safe work practices, job procedures, policies, training matrix, and personnel files; monitor GPS/safety software for accuracy.

Coordinate onboarding and training: deliver new-hire orientations, schedule required training, assess site-specific needs, facilitate monthly JHSC meetings, and periodically attend toolbox/daily hazard talks.

Manage PPE programs: inventory control and annual inspection/fit-for-use compliance.

Support people programs: assist with WCB claims and return-to-work (modified duties) and help acclimate foreign workers; occasionally coordinate team-building activities.

Manage all site-generated safety documentation (using SALUS software as required).

Model safe work—coach, influence, and lead by example.

**What You Bring**
- Previous experience in a safety role (construction/concrete industry is an asset).
- Safety designation (or a clear commitment to obtain one).
- Working knowledge of the NB OHS Act/Regulations and CSA standards; strong investigation and documentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a diverse workforce; bilingualism (English/French/Spanish) is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; interprovincial travel as required.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean abstract.

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
