**Position Overview**
As a **Mold Technician** at SIL Plastic, you will be an integral part of our manufacturing operations. You’ll be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and optimizing injection molding machines to ensure consistent production of high-quality components. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a dedication to precision and efficiency.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Set up and configure injection molding machines for production, ensuring optimal efficiency and quality.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to optimize cycle times and material flow.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot molding issues such as flash, warpage, and dimensional variations.
- Perform mold changes, clean and maintain molds, and carry out routine maintenance to prevent downtime.
- Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Document production parameters, maintenance activities, and quality control data accurately.
- Collaborate with production teams to meet daily targets.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mold technology or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Mold Technician with expertise in plastic injection molding.
- Knowledge of mold setup, machine operations, and maintenance.
- Ability to diagnose molding defects and troubleshoot machine performance issues.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour
