**Adamson Builders Inc** services the construction needs of Adamson Systems Engineering. Ongoing projects include an expansion and renovation of the existing building, a 120,000 sq ft manufacturing facility on 38 acres of M2 Industrial land in beautiful Port Perry, Ontario. Adamson Builders will start constructing a second expansion to our manufacturing facility increasing our footprint to over 150,000 sq ft.

**Responsibilities**:
**Project Planning & Execution**
- Plan the full scope of new build projects, including schedules, budgets, and resource requirements

**Team & Subcontractor Management**
- Hire, supervise, and evaluate general contractors and specialty subcontractors
- Lead regular site meetings to coordinate trades and ensure alignment with project goals
- Enforce compliance with project drawings, specifications, and quality benchmarks

**Budget & Cost Control**
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and manage overall project budgets
- Approve and track subcontractor invoices, purchase orders, and change orders
- Monitor financial progress and provide recommendations for efficiencies without compromising quality

**Site Operations & Safety**
- Ensure adherence to all OSHA, provincial, and company safety protocols
- Maintain accurate daily logs, inspection records, and project documentation
- Resolve site conflicts and challenges promptly to avoid disruption

**Client & Stakeholder Communication**
- Serve as the main liaison with owners, architects, engineers, and senior stakeholders
- Deliver weekly progress reports, including photos, schedule updates, and budget tracking
- Manage project punch lists and oversee successful closeout processes
- Identify cost-saving opportunities in materials, labor, and contractor selection
- Oversee all phases of construction: site preparation, foundation, structural framing, MEP systems, and finishing
- Engage with engineering firms to procure stamped drawings and construction documentation
- Participate in site inspections and ensure regulatory compliance throughout
- Anticipate and address potential delays, ensuring projects remain on schedule

**Requirements**:

- 8-10 years of project management in construction - preferably in an industrial setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills including the ability to manage project budgets and schedules.
- In-depth knowledge of construction industry including building materials, construction specifications, methods and procedures, construction law and building codes, and safety.
- Valid G driver's license with access to vehicle.
- PMP Certification is an asset.
