**Full-Time Intermediate Payroll Practitioner**

**$50,000-52,000/year + Bonus Potential + Benefits**

The role currently includes, but is not limited to, the following duties.
- Contract Preparation for New Hires; Review of Return Documents; Set up and entry of New Employee
- Processing bi-weekly full cycle multi-provincial (BC, AB, SK, MN, ON, QC) payroll for salary and hourly employees
- Ensures payroll compliance within various Provincial Employment Standards requirements and updates
- Verifies bi-weekly electronic timecards’ accuracy in Ceridian Power Pay and following up with appropriate departments/individuals with any discrepancies
- Processes, reviews, and confirms all payroll entries, including but not limited to new hires, employee changes, travel, vacation, sick/personal time, bonus payment, direct deposit information, benefit status, transfers, and terminations
- Prepares Record of Employment (ROE) for employees as needed
- Prepares all Provincial Workplace Safety Board remittance payments as instructed
- Prepare and communicate all statutory remittances, garnishees, and Family Support with Ceridian PowerPay Service Team
- Prepares year-end close-off relating to income tax, Canada Pension Plan (CPP), Employment Insurance (EI), Employer Health Tax (EHT), Workplace Safety & Insurance Board (WSIB; WCB Alberta; WCB Manitoba: WCB Saskatchewan; Work Safe BC; CNESST; Revenue Quebec), T4/T4A tax forms.
- Liaises with Human Resources and prepares various reports as required (e.g., COVID Subsidy reporting requirements)
- Responds to inquiries, provides support, and resolves issues with internal Ceridian users and their supervisors
- Liaises with Ceridian directly to address any system issues
- Maintains files and documentation in accordance with Access Property Development. policies
- Maintains integrity and confidentiality of all financial records, employee information, and payroll records
- Supports Access Property Development’s mission, vision, and values
- Perform other duties as required

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 5+ YEARS of Hands-On Employment experience
- Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) or Certified Payroll Manager (CPM) certification considered an asset
- Minimum 2 years’ full-cycle experience in payroll - Ceridian Power Pay AND/OR ADP Workforce Now experience preferred
- Strong communication skills with appropriate Business English
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational abilities, and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and work effectively in a team
- Bilingual English/French is an asset
- Canadian Citizen or Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Undergo FULL Criminal, Credit and Employment Background Check

**Salary**:

- Up to $52,000 Dependent on Experience

**Salary**: Up to $52,000.00 per year
