ob Overview - Host / Server Assistant

Alice is looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented team member to join our front-of-house crew. This hybrid role combines **hosting, server support, and light operational duties** to ensure our guests receive the highest level of hospitality from the moment they walk in.

You will be the first point of contact for our guests, using **SevenRooms** to manage reservations, seating, and guest notes. In addition, you’ll assist servers with food and beverage service, and help maintain smooth operations by keeping fridges and service stations restocked throughout shifts.

We’re seeking someone who is passionate about hospitality, thrives in a lively atmosphere, and is eager to grow with a dynamic team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Warmly greet and check in guests using **SevenRooms**, managing reservations, seating assignments, and VIP notes.
- Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and highlighting daily specials or promotions.
- Support servers by taking food and beverage orders when needed, running dishes, and clearing tables.
- Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction by responding to inquiries and resolving concerns with professionalism.
- Restock fridges, service stations, and bar supplies during and between shifts to keep operations running smoothly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area and service stations.
- Collaborate with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
- Assist in onboarding and guiding new team members on guest service standards and operational procedures.

**Requirements**:

- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is an asset, but **training will be provided**.
- Strong guest service and communication skills with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying organized and attentive to detail.
- Familiarity with **SevenRooms** and/or **POS systems (Micros POS)** is an advantage.
- Willingness to take initiative with operational tasks, including restocking and supporting teammates.
