Alberta Supports Services provides access to more than 30 programs and 120 services for seniors, people with disabilities, job seekers, parents and families, homelessness, financial assistance, abuse, and family violence prevention. **Role Responsibilities**:
Employment and Financial Services (EFS) is looking for a motivated administrative professional with the ability to lead and enhance team effectiveness through a commitment to service excellence for their Edmonton office.
As an Administrative Supervisor, you will provide day-to-day operational support to the Administrative Support Team, by ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of service delivery in all aspects of administration. This position supervises Administrative Support staff in the Edmonton region and will also be part of the Central Administrative Team which includes additional offices within the North zone.
This position is an integral part of the Employment and Financial Services (EFS) Team handling confidential, sensitive, and restricted information. The incumbent is responsible for supporting Managers, AISH Generalists, Career and Employment Consultants (CEC), Supports and Financial Services Coordinators (SFSC), Program Delivery Supervisors, and Business Coordinators. You must be able to manage multiple tasks, work under tight deadlines, ensure work is of high quality, and have a thorough understanding of the programs and services offered by both Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped (AISH) and Alberta Works Income Support (IS) programs.
**Responsibilities for this position include**:
- Supervision of Administrative Support Team in collaboration with the Business Coordinator
- Being the site contact person who provides highly complex and confidential assistance and support to the Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped (AISH) programs, Income Support Programs, Child Support Services (CSS) Program, staff, and the Information Technology IT department.
- Financial reconciliation and assist staff where necessary.
- Records Management maintenance and ensure Administrative Support staff are trained in current procedures.

**Qualifications**:
A High School Diploma and 3 years of related experience is required. Equivalencies will be considered as follows:
- Directly related experience or education considered on the basis of 1 year of experience for 1 year of education; OR
- 1 year of education for 1 year of experience.

- Previous experience establishing administrative procedures, record keeping, drafting of basic correspondence, and financial responsibilities such as assisting with audit requests, reconciliation, and knowledge of financial policies and procedures is also required.
- Experience working with systems such as 1GX, SharePoint, Teams, Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and other programs such as Treatment of Income (TOI), Local Income Support Application (LISA), Central Client Directory (CCD), Mobius, and Compass.
