Thorndale, Canada Algonquin Bridge Full time

Algonquin Bridge designs, manufactures and assembles prefabricated steel bridge products and crossing solutions. We are seeking a Machine Operator to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis in our facility in Thorndale, Ontario.

**Responsibilities**:

- Set up to run various pieces of equipment
- Assisting operators in material handling
- Complete routine maintenance on the equipment
- Keep the workstations tidy and clean
- Assist with trouble shooting and problem-solving mechanical problems on the equipment
- Follow AIL's Quality Management System

Qualifications:

- Safety conscious
- Forklift experience would be considered an asset
- Must possess a certain degree of mechanical aptitude
- Must be able to work accurately with figures
- Must be organized and self-motivated
- Must be able to communicate with others
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Experience with heavy machinery would be considered an asset
