**We are seeking Graduate Student Research Assistant**

**12-month part-time contract (10-14h/week) OR 4 months full-time contract (35h/week)**

**What will be your role?**

The graduate student research assistant will be engaged in a multi-study VHA Research project that leverages our administrative data to understand factors that influence labour market participation and job conditions of personal support workers. The individual will have the opportunity to lead the analysis and publication of one portion of this study, with mentorship and support from VHA’s multidisciplinary research team.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Possess or working towards a graduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., health services research, health informatics, health economics)
- Experience working with large longitudinal administrative datasets in healthcare research setting
- Statistical quantitative analysis skills (R preferred)
- Tact, discretion, and ability to manage confidential sensitive data and information
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and within a team environment with staff at all levels within the organization
- Ability to work virtually
- Excellent computer skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word) with a particular expertise and comfort with Excel
