**Overview**

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects based on specifications, drawings, and site visits.
- Utilize software tools such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid to create and manage estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate pricing.
- Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Negotiate prices with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive bids.
- Monitor project budgets throughout the lifecycle of the project to ensure adherence to estimated costs.
- Provide support during the bidding process by preparing bid documents and presenting estimates to clients.
- Maintain organized records of all estimates and related documentation for future reference.

**Skills**:

- Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in construction estimating software such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid.
- Solid understanding of construction processes, materials, and methods.
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
