**Financial Services Sales Representative** - Desjardins Agent Team Member**

**Position Overview**:
A successful Desjardins Agent is seeking a motivated professional to join their growing agency. We are located in the downtown core of Grimsby and require an individual who can keep up with the fast-paced environment and increasing demand from a town that is rapidly expanding. **Requirements**:

- Life insurance license
- OTL - Property & Casualty license (must be willing to obtain)
- Experience in marketing and selling financial products
- Knowledge of life products
- Successful track record of meeting sales goals
- Looking to build a career
- Self-motivated
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
- Strong work ethic
- Organized, with the ability to problem solve
- Ability to work as a team
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task

**Responsibilities**
- Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
- Quote new business through outbound calls and marketing initiatives
- Ability to make presentations to potential customers
- Sell new policies/write new business to existing or new clients
- Sales initiatives will be focused toward permanent and term life insurance policies, disability insurance, critical illness insurance and health and dental benefits
- Seize all sales opportunities, solicitation and product offers.
- Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
- Retain clear and concise documentation and records
