**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Must have 2 - 4 years of experience in a similar role or equivalent experience
- Ability to lead and strong communication skills are required
- Ability to perform material installations using proper procedures that meet the industry standards is preferred
- Basic comprehension of the Ontario Building Code and Municipal Codes are preferred
- Have some understanding of blueprints, construction drawings and grading plans including site drainage
- Valid G licence is required, and Class A (Restricted) licence is an asset
- Moderate operational knowledge for small machinery including mini excavator and skid steers is an asset

**Responsibilities and Expectations**:

- Work with Foreperson to manage a small crew by prioritizing work tasks, keeping crew members focused on current task, maintaining the high work quality standard, and monitoring the schedule.
- Ensure installations and landscape construction projects are completed safely, effectively and in a timely manner using the appropriate equipment and methods.
- Operate a variety of hand tools and equipment to complete set-up, layout and clean-up of all installations and landscape construction projects including but not limited to decorative concrete and interlocking stone for; driveways, walkways, patios, and pool decks, as well as natural stone, interlocking retaining walls and installation of raised garden beds including grading, and sodding.
- Must complete vehicle and equipment inspections to ensure safe operations and maintain proper working conditions.

We are a full landscape construction and property maintenance company established in 2010, serving Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph and surrounding areas.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
