**Job Summary**
The Clinical Aid plays a vital role in supporting healthcare professionals by assisting with patient care and ensuring a smooth operation at the After Hours Clinic. This position requires a compassionate individual who is dedicated to providing high-quality support to both patients and staff. The Clinical Aid will work closely with medical personnel to facilitate patient registration, while also maintaining a clean and organized environment.

**Duties**
- Triage and register patients attending the After Hours Clinic using Telus Health EMR.
- Assist healthcare providers in delivering patient care, including preparing patients for examinations and procedures.
- Process urine specimens and take patient vitals as required ensuring accurate documentation in patient records.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization in patient areas, including sterilization of equipment and rooms as needed.
- Process 3rd party payments as directed by physician.
- Maintain strict confidence.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in independently or as part of a team
- Basic understanding of medical terminology is advantageous.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Must possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain valuable experience in the healthcare field while making a meaningful impact on patient care. Saturday and Sunday shift 8:30am -12:00pm with the opportunity to add weekly evening shifts as needed.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 8 per week
