We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Principal/Supervisor to lead our Montessori School for children 1.5 - 6 years old. This key leadership role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the centre, ensuring a high-quality Montessori program, and maintaining full compliance with all applicable regulatory standards including those set by the Ministry of Education and Public Health. As the Head of School, the Principal/Supervisor plays a central role in building a nurturing, collaborative, and professional environment for both staff and families.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide daily leadership and oversight of all classroom and operational activities.
- Ensure the delivery of an authentic Montessori program aligned with the school’s vision and standards.
- Act as the designated supervisor under the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA), maintaining compliance with all licensing requirements and inspections.
- Maintain up-to-date policies, records, and documentation as required by regulatory authorities.
- Hire, train and evaluate teaching staff to promote ongoing professional growth and development.
- Foster strong relationships with families, ensuring open and respectful communication.
- Oversee enrolment processes

Qualifications:

- Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a licensed child care or Montessori setting.
- Thorough knowledge of the CCEYA, licensing standards, and Ministry of Education requirements.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification.
- Valid Police Vulnerable Sector Check.

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
