The Opportunity

We are #hiring a Joint Venture (JV) Team Lead for our Calgary head office. If you have exceptional interpersonal and collaborative leadership skills, we want to hear from you

You will manage the JV properties and provide leadership, technical expertise, guidance, and facilitation in the areas of JV contract negotiations and generation of contract documents. You will be the primary JV contact for our partners and other parties, ensuring consistency and efficiency when handling our JV issues.

What you will do- Manage JV properties including the evaluation of mail ballot proposals and management approval of AFE’s- Support, mentor, and performance manage members of the JV team- Create and maximize JV revenue opportunities- Create, review, and negotiate JV agreements and third party business terms for facilities- Ensure our JV agreements conform to current industry standards and incorporate legal, accounting, and technical requirements to keep our interests protected- Maintain accountability for the annual operating forecasts with both engineering and operations- Develop JV options in support of all production / operations development plans

What you will bring- 10 years of relevant JV experience with 5 years’ experience leading a team- A post-secondary education in business or engineering or equivalent combination of experience and education- Exceptional communication and leadership skills- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others in a team environment
