**Who we need**:
Our University is actively seeking an Accessibility and Academic Accommodations Team Lead. Under the general direction of the Director of Accessibility and Academic Accommodation, the Accessibility and Academic Accommodations Team Lead will act as the senior functional lead for the Accessibility and Academic Accommodations Office at YU/TFS. The incumbent will be responsible for supporting the staff with day-to-day duties, leading the team of specialists in providing accessibility and academic accommodations services as it aligns with policies and legislation, and managing an individual caseload of students. S/he/they take full responsibility for ensuring Accessibility, and Academic Accommodations services satisfy the provisions of human rights legislation and YU/TFS policies while liaising with academic areas (student services, registrar, financial aid, deans, faculty, etc.) and other stakeholders to guide in supporting the Accessibility and Academic Accommodations office. S/he/they also recommend new initiatives to the Director while initiating and implementing organizational changes as required.
In the absence of the Director, the incumbent is the Acting Director for Accessibility and Academic Accommodations.

**What will you do**:
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver accessibility and academic accommodations services through continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
- Provide leadership and guidance to ensure compliance with Human Rights and Accessibility legislation and best practices in various academic and learning environments.
- Review and develop processes, practices, and resources to address the office’s needs in serving a diverse student population.
- Support strategic planning initiatives.
- Provide guidance and advice to Accessibility and Academic Accommodations staff.
- Develop and provide training to staff through coordination and facilitation of regular and specialized meetings and support the onboarding process for new staff.
- Ensure effective delivery of Accessibility and academic accommodations process, procedures and services.
- Consult on student-related human rights issues.
- Facilitate dispute resolution for complex cases.
- Develop, review, and communicate supports and resources to address the needs of the Accessibility and Academic Accommodations Office.
- Work with academic areas and other stakeholders.
- Provide information to promote understanding and delivery of services.
- Maintain an Accessibility Specialist caseload by implementing, evaluating, and promoting Accessibility and academic accommodation services for students with functional limitations related to protected human rights grounds to fulfill the duty to accommodate legal obligations.
