**Job Summary**:
The Accounts Payable (AP) Coordinator is responsible for managing the company’s outgoing financial obligations. This includes receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices. The AP Specialist ensures that payments are made in a timely and accurate manner, maintains strong relationships with vendors, and helps uphold internal controls.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Review and verify invoices and check requests for appropriate documentation and approval.
- Enter and upload invoices into accounting systems.
- Match purchase orders to invoices and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
- Research and resolve invoice and payment issues with vendors.
- Reconcile vendor statements and correct discrepancies.
- Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
- Assist with month-end closing tasks and reporting.
- Respond to inquiries from vendors and internal departments in a timely and professional manner.

**Qualifications**:

- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g.Trimble Spectrum, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft 365.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with ERP systems.
- Familiarity with 3-way matching and purchase order processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently.
