**Overview**

**Personal Support Worker (PSW) - Male Caregiver Preferred**
**Location**: St. Catharines, ON
**Shift**: 12-hour day shifts (6:30 AM - 6:30 PM)
**Type**: Ongoing, Regular Part-Time
**Start**: Immediate

About the Role

Responsibilities include:

- Assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Safety supervision and companionship
- Meal escorting and support
- Gentle reminders and toileting cuing
- Promoting dignity, independence, and comfort
- Deliver activities that are adapted to the client’s abilities and interests, helping to reduce isolation and promote comfort

**Qualifications**:

- Certified **Personal Support Worker (PSW)**:

- Current **First Aid & CPR Certification**:

- Valid **Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)**:

- Valid **Driver’s License**:

- Previous experience in supporting clients with dementia preferred

- Dementia care: 1 year (required)
- retirement home: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:
