Glazing / Window Wall Estimator

Vaughan, Canada Newmar Window Manufacturing Inc. Full time

**Responsibilities**:

- Review project documents specifications and drawings to determine scope of work.
- Calculate and input data into spreadsheets
- Generate request for quotes from sub-contractors.
- Able to read and transcribe measurements from blue prints (Perform take offs)
- Experience working with Adobe AutoCAD required
- Experience in working with Microsoft Office Software
- Reports to the Operations Manager, High Rise
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
- Reliable, team player with exceptional problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage time and workload quickly, accurately and independently
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
- Positive attitude

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma in a construction/architectural related field an asset
- Minimum 2 years experience in the architectural glazing industry
- Minimum 3 years Estimating experience
- Window wall experience required
- Basic math skills required
- Ability to complete basic calculations and conversions
- Demonstrate confidence in spotting construction productivity issues and taking
- Self-motivated, with high energy and engaging level of enthusiasm

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Canadian High Rise: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person
