**Job Description**:
**Main Duties**
Reporting to the Director of Payroll & Benefits Accounting, this position contributes to SIGA’s reputation for organizational excellence, by organizing, coordinating and supervising the Payroll Department.
**Responsibilities include**: Managing SIGA’s Payroll operations, with strong emphasis on accuracy, accountability, and maintaining high service standards. Supervising Payroll staff, promoting good relationships and ensuring they have the knowledge and tools they need to succeed. Providing expertise and guidance on a wide variety of statutory, regulatory, and compliance issues relating to payroll, deductions, remittances, and systems. Handling escalated customer service issues. Participating in development, implementation and maintenance of SIGA-wide payroll systems. Modeling SIGA’s values, and presenting a positive image of SIGA in the community. Participating in other projects and activities as required, to ensure SIGA’s employees are paid accurately and on time.
**Conditions of Employment**
- The minimum age to work in a casino or any area where gaming can be seen is 19 years of age.
- Must possess valid Saskatchewan Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Some SIGA locations operate in a high sensory environment. You may be required to work in an environment where you will be exposed to tobacco smoke, high noise levels, flashing and blinking lights, and a congested workplace. SIGA adheres to all occupational health and safety regulations and makes every effort to limit the adverse effects of these elements.

**Job Requirements**: Education**
- Bachelor of Business Administration degree or related experience.
- Payroll Compliance Practitioner & Certified Payroll Manager or working towards one of these designations.
**Experience**
- Must have previous payroll experience.
- Must have excellent accounting knowledge.
- Beneficial to be working towards an accounting or related designation or certificate.
