**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Manage the full payroll cycle, including processing payroll, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy in payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Oversee accounts payable functions related to payroll processing.
- Utilize payworks to manage employee data and streamline payroll processes.
- Collaborate with sales managers to ensure accurate employee classifications and benefits deductions.
- Prepare reports related to payroll metrics and compliance for management review.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Train and mentor payroll staff on best practices and software usage.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in payroll management with a strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and payworks
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform account reconciliations effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and professionally.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with various departments within the organization.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required based on experience.
