Safeway Insurance has been providing insurance coverage and professional advice to our customers for over 45 years.

We are currently looking for an experienced and knowledgeable individual to join our commercial lines team.

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Work closely with Account Executives and Account Managers on existing and developing portfolios
- Provide customer service to your own assigned book of business as well as backup to Account Executives and Account Managers when unavailable
- Secure and negotiate terms with insurer partners for new and renewal business
- Quote new and renewal business using quoting software and insurer portals
- Update BMS with the information provided by insurance carriers

**Qualifications**:

- _**RIBO license is required**_, CAIB and/or CIP designation is preferable
- Working knowledge of commercial lines insurance policies and coverages
- Proficient in the use of Broker Management System (Agency Manager) & Quoting Tool (Applied Rating Services)
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
