Star Ring Education Inc. is a study abroad and education service organization that specializes in international student services, North American educational resource research, vocational education and training, interview counseling and employment guidance, guaranteed educational product development and overseas study services.

We are in need of a Business Development Officer to identify development opportunities, build markets in Canada, drive new income generation through business development activities, market intelligence, product and/or service design and development, and the creation and submission of plans and proposals.

Job Duties
- Develop, implement, and maintain standard business development processes for opportunity development
- Work alongside with management team to understand Star Ring’s services. This includes developing an understanding of our capabilities, our industry’s state, and how to position us to win and succeed in the market
- Collaborate with management team to determine the most viable, cost-effective approach to pursue new business opportunities
- Conduct market research and identify potential teaming partners and develop relationships, partnerships, and agreements in pursuit of potential opportunities.
- Engage with key institutions and actively present company offerings and negotiate business deals
- Assist in supporting the development of potential business partners and growing existing client relationships with local and international education agencies
- Write business plans, feasibility studies, proposals, prospect communications, and other related correspondence. Ensure these documents and communications are error-free and documented.
- Contribute to company profile, website content, and marketing materials to improve the visibility and recognition of Star Ring’s expertise.
- Represent Star Ring at client/agent meetings, local and national exhibitions, and conferences in order to recruit potential students
- Analyze customer feedback data to determine whether clients are satisfied with company products and services
- Perform competitive assessment, risk analysis, and develop recommendations. Provide insight into product and service development and competitive positioning.

Skills and Qualifications:
l Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, marketing, or related field.

l 5+ years experience working in a development or similar role, 2+ years in a leadership role

l The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and travel as needed

l Excellent analytical, problem-solving and management skills.

l Exceptional negotiation and decision-making skills.

l Effective communication skills.

l Strong business acumen.

l Detail-oriented.

Pay: $93,600.00 per year
