Field Technician

Position Overview:
We are looking for an Entry-Level Field Technician/Skilled Labor on a full
- time basis to assist in installing our moisture monitoring systems on Vancouver sites. Reporting to the
as independently to perform field work and generate field reports, from
provided work instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Installation & service of sensor system components (cable, enclosures,
sensors, etc.)
- Performance with non-destructive testing practices
- Project site data collections
- Photo/Videographic record keeping
- Creating field reports with site photos and coherent detailed
descriptions from templates.
- Able to carry ~50 lbs of gear and navigate construction site hazards.
- Able to assist with basic production of electronics when field work is
not required
- Follow all safety protocols, Covid procedures, and work instructions
as needed

- Ability to work outdoors (...Wind, Rain, Snow, Sun)
- Strong mechanical and analytical skills
- Comprehensive technical writing skills
- Effective communication, team and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, responsible, punctual, and organized
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities

**Requirements**:

- Preferred: Construction industry experience
- Preferred: Understanding construction principles and procedures
- Preferred: Understanding of Electrical, Plumbing, & Roofing
installation methods
- Preferred: Specializations in; Carpentry/Pipefitting/PLC
Integrations/Low Voltage Electronical/Electrical experience
- Preferred: Having own vehicle to access construction sites
- Mandatory: Dexterity in handling wires, cables, and electronics.
- Mandatory: Willingness to learn SMT technologies
- Mandatory: A good cell phone for site photos and digital compliance
submittals
