**About us**

Baywest Glazing is a leading fabricator and installer of curtain wall, storefront, entranceways, interior glass and large windows in the Fraser Valley and greater Vancouver. We have an advanced door and window fabrication facility integrating design software with computer controlled cutting and milling equipment.

We are currently seeking a Draftsperson to create quality, precise drawings, for fabrication of multiple projects.

This is a great opportunity to work with great software, equipment and a team of talented people

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Review architectural plans
- Create drawings for fabricating storefront, curtain wall, entranceways and interior glass systems using Logikal for our CNC
- Trouble shoot potential fabricating issues and make recommendations for resolution
- Work with our Shop Manager and Project managers to satisfy client requirements

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Knows or who can quickly learn the fabrication process
- Is accurate with numbers and details
- Is interested in helping to develop improved manufacturing processes
- Has strong computer skills
- Competency in AutoCAD and Logikal an asset
- Able to quickly learn window and door systems
- Good command of oral and written English
- Be organized, have a positive attitude, be detail oriented and take initiative

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
